COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY WARSAW
Radiology - 3D tomography
We perform all necessary imaging tests immediately, entirely on-site. Whether you need a digital periapical X-ray, panoramic X-ray, cephalometric scan, or advanced 3D tomography, our equipment provides us with a complete picture of your anatomy in just a few moments.

What is dental computed tomography (CBCT)?
Imagine a traditional X-ray. While very helpful, it only shows your smile in two dimensions – as a flat image where structures can overlap. Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a true breakthrough in diagnostics in this regard. Instead of a standard, flat photograph, we obtain an incredibly detailed, three-dimensional (3D) model of your teeth, bones, and facial structures in just a few seconds.
What does this mean in practice? The dentist gains the ability to virtually view each tooth from absolutely every angle. They can freely rotate the model on the computer screen, analyze its cross-sections, and with millimeter precision peer into areas that were previously completely invisible to the naked eye with older methods. This technology allows us to see more and plan treatments without any margin for error.

When is a 3D examination necessary?
In many areas of dentistry, 3D imaging is now the absolute standard. A referral for a CT scan means the doctor wants to plan your procedure with maximum precision and eliminate the risk of surprises.
We use 3D testing primarily in areas such as:
-
Implantology – precise measurement of bone quantity and density, essential for safe and durable implant placement, as well as planning more advanced procedures, such as full-arch reconstruction (e.g. All-on-6).
-
Endodontics – finding hidden or unusually curved root canals under a microscope before treatment begins.
-
Dental surgery – precise assessment of the position of impacted teeth (e.g. wisdom teeth) in relation to important nerves, which ensures safety during removal.
-
Orthodontics – a detailed analysis of the anatomy of the facial skeleton, allowing for precise planning of the treatment of malocclusions with appliances.

Test procedure and safety
Minimum radiation dose
The modern cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) we use emits a much lower dose of radiation than traditional medical tomography scanners known from hospitals.
Speed of execution
Forget about lying still for long periods. The scan itself takes only a few to several dozen seconds.
No cumbersome preparations
The test is completely painless, non-invasive, and does not require fasting. Just before the scan, you'll be asked to remove any glasses or jewelry from around your head and neck.
No claustrophobia
Our device is completely open. During the examination, you simply stand or sit; you don't enter any closed "tube," guaranteeing complete peace of mind.
